ST. THEREZA’S CONVENT HIGH SCHOOL

St. Thereza’s Convent High School, Raia established in 1949. Is a School recognised and aided by the Government of Goa. It is managed by the Educational Society of the Handmaids of Christ, Goa.

(This Society is Religious based Minority Institute registered under Societies Registration Order dated 31st March, 1973 in the office of Sub-Registrar, Panjim under the Societies Registration Act 1860 under Registration No. 406/R.S./39/73).

 

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

 

  1. The primary purpose of this School is to provide Catholic Education to Catholic Students; but all others are admitted and treated with equal right provided they conform to the rules of the School.
  2. The aim of the School is to impart academic, physical, moral and spiritual education with stress on Catholic formation for Catholic Students. Nevertheless it shall respect the religious feelings and freedom of conscience of all its Students.
  3. It’s aim is to train the children to learn intelligently and to help them to develop the qualities of Co-operation and service so as to make them useful and worthy citizens of our Motherland.
  4. Provision is made for the teaching of 2nd / 3rd Language as prescribed by the Government and as per needs of the Students as per option.
  5. The course of studies of the School is arranged according to the Syllabus laid down by the Directorate of Education, Goa as well as by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
